FAQ
How many drinks does Sour Slime Licker® Strawberry Lemonade Popping Boba (5 pouches) make?
5. Each pouch is one single-serve portion of popping boba — pour the whole pouch into one drink. 5 boba straws are in the box.
Does popping boba need to be refrigerated?
No. Unopened pouches are shelf-stable at room temperature for 1 year from purchase. A pouch is one serving, so there is nothing to store once it is open.
How do I use popping boba at home?
Snip the pouch, pour the pearls into your drink, add the wide straw, sip. No cooking, no prep. Pearls work in cold drinks, on ice cream, yogurt, or shaved ice.
Is it gluten-free? Any allergens?
Gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free. Check the ingredient panel on the pouch for the full list.
Is popping boba safe for kids?
It's made for family drinks — no corn syrup, no artificial preservatives. The pearls pop; they don't need chewing like tapioca pearls. As with any small food, supervise young children.
What's the difference between popping boba and tapioca boba?
Tapioca boba is chewy, cooked, and keeps for hours. Popping boba is a thin skin around a liquid fruit-juice center that bursts when you bite it, needs no cooking, and stores for a year. BobaVida only makes popping boba.
How much is it per drink?
$4.20 per pouch at $20.99 for 5. Free US shipping on orders of $50 or more.
